Ok, so we can all agree that it has gone freezing cold all of the sudden can’t we!? It doesn’t matter where you are in the UK at the minute, it’s just cold. Because if ever there was a glimmer of some hope and happiness, Christmas is around the corner. Scary, we know. But it won’t be long before all the streets have their Christmas lights on, and we’re tucked up in bed waiting for the snow to come. There’s so much energy and happiness that just radiates from all corners of the country. We’re not sure whether it is to do with the friendly nature of the locals, the lovely weather, or just the fact that is is Australia. One thing you will notice as soon as you get there is how relaxed you feel. The atmosphere is so much different to the one you will find in the UK. The people are so much more welcoming, and the main cities such as Perth or Sydney just seem really clean. The beaches are always pristine, and you can guarantee that you’ll find a local restaurant serving great food overlooking them. The life downunder is expensive, so be sure to pack plenty of those Aussie dollars, so make sure if you are doing something like this, then you’re doing it right. To do it right, your purse needs to be full! Or you could do it the backpacker way, which is equally as fun if you have that kind of mindset!

Bustling Places

We think that the best parts of Australia to visit are the ones that are bustling this time of year. You just get a vibe for the country like no other, and mixing in amongst so many people really does give you a great feel for the country.
