The arctic winds that seem to have taken over the UK of late have played havoc with my skin, and getting any kind of a glow can only be achieved with a very liberal helping of cream highlighter.
I won this Tropic Skincare Face Smooth Polisher a couple of weeks ago on Twitter, and have been waiting for the perfect moment to give it a test drive. Tropic Skincare is a brand set up by The Apprentice candidate Susan Ma and is now part owned by Sir Alan Sugar himself. Made with 100% of ingredients from natural origin, using premium distilled essential oils this is certainly a brand that is designed to be kind to skin.
The Face Smooth Polisher is a very fine exfoliator containing powerful Acai berries to brighten and gentle alpha hydroxy acids to stimulate skin renewal. It works to cleanse, exfoliate, tone and moisturise all in one, to leave your skin feeling velvety, refreshed and simply radiant. Basically everything that I’m craving from my dull and grey looking skin.
This consistancy of the polish is quite runny, so a spatula is provided for ease of use. You then massage into the skin in circular motions for a minute, rinse and then splash face with cold water to close the pores. My skin instantly felt much smoother, babys bum like if you please and the next day I noticed a visible difference in the texture and smoothness of my skin which in turn made my makeup apply better.
I’m going to be using this twice a week to keep my skin buffed and fabulous.
