My latest theatre “geek” conquest will be to the Garrick Theatre in the West End to see the hot brand new musical “Loserville” written by Elliot Davis and former Busted/Son of Dork member James Bourne. The show is inspired by the Son of Dork album “Welcome to Loserville” and James and Elliot have been working on the musical for the last 3 years.  As a former he-owge Busted fan I’d heard rumblings of this being released for a while,  so to say I’m excited about the debut of this on 01.10.2012 is an understatement. Uncle Eric Hard Days Night – A Review

Speaking of men (and geeks)… I appear to have developed abit of an uhm… thing for men + the theatre (+ geeks) + music = it appears this combination can = a happy Charl. This was ignited by a trip to le theatre to see something that people in Stoke like to call “Uncle Erics Hard Days Night.”  I was reassured that it was hilarious and full of awesome music, and despite my initial reservations, I dragged my fabulous ass out and joined lots of ladies with blue rinses and a gent called Gordon Banks (I shit thee not).  Funny…

Black rimmed glasses, check. Nervous smile, check. Side parting hair, check. I’m not sure if I’m alone in this, but when it comes to men – I love me a bit of male geek.
