It’s been just under a year since the last “proper” release from those 4 boys from Sheffield (also known as The Ratells) and their new single Behind the Fire which has been produced by Ross Orton (of Arctic Monkeys “AM” fame), will be officially released on 21st April alongside a single release party down in London (which I’ll be attending! – so if you’re free come along!)
I’ve had the pleasure of having the track for a few weeks now and have received such a great reception when playing it over on my radio show at @6townsradio. I have the volume turned up as high as it’ll go and I exhale the breath that has been baited whilst waiting for the latest Ratells offering. And its not disappointed.
Its been a whirlwind year for the boys. After selling out half of their first headline tour, driving over 10,000 miles up and down the country, racking up an impressive 17,000 tweets (and four million triangle symbols and a billion //) and gaining a collective 50,000 views on YouTube, the release of Behind the Fire marks the beginning of another big year for the band with a rumoured June tour in the offering for their ever faithful following.
Behind The is available for pre order now on iTunes with the official release date being the 21st April.
