An Epic Place to Stay in Liverpool

by Charl Pearce

If you asked me to choose between all of the cities in the UK, Liverpool would always come in my top 3.  Whether its because the people there are just so darn friendly, it’s close proximity to water or because of the number of excellent bars, restaurants and shops, I’m not exactly sure, but it’s the city I’d choose to make a long weekend of.  And I aren’t even that big a fan of The Beatles (but I loved the musical).

I’d stumbled across Epic Apart Hotel along with a couple of other fancy looking apartment complexes in the city previously but wrongly assumed that it would be priced out of my budget entirely.  What do they say about people that assume?

We booked one of the larger complexes at Epic Apart Hotel, designed to sleep up to 7 with a kitchen come living come dining area, a large slate tiled bathroom with shower and his & hers sinks (or her & hers) and ensuite to the master double room. With sleek modern decor, statement pieces of modern art in bold & bright colours and wifi throughout (for uploading all those “#decorgoal” Instagram posts, this is certainly a luxury alternative to your bog standard hotel room and for more or less the same, if not cheaper price.   With a Liverpool city centre double hotel room costing upwards of £100 for a popular Friday night, you’re looking at approximately £350-£400 for 4 rooms possibly scattered over a couple of floors. At around £320 for the night you can bag yourself luxury accommodation slap bang in the middle of all the action.

Situated on Peel Steet, the Epic Apart Hotel is ideally located within walking distance of the best that Liverpool has to offer in terms of nightlife, shopping and points of interest if you’re looking to discover the culture and history of the city, of which there is plenty.  It’s also only a 5-10 minute walk max from Liverpool Lime Street train station.  BONUS.

For an epic place to stay during your stay in Liverpool, look no further than Epic Aparthotel.

With the vibrant and cosmopolitan Concert Square which boasts some of the best bars and clubs in the city literally around the corner (not even a hop skip or a totter in your highest heels), as well as the iconic Matthews Street being close by if you fancy getting your Cavern Club thing on, you’re spoiled for choice in terms of bars and places to eat.    Fancy doing some retail damage during your stay? You’re literally a stones throw away from the very best of Liverpool’s shopping hub, Liverpool One and the waterfront Albert Dock.

Coming out at £45 per person between 7 of us for the night, it’s affordable enough to mean that you can use the money you’ve saved on a bottle of prosecco for pre party drinks in the stunning communal area which makes for the perfect base for a night out.

What a bargain! I love Liverpool, i’m lucky to live close by so don’t have to stay over but it would be great if I was on a night out – it’s cheaper than a taxi there and back!
