BEAUTY || Clip Hair Review : “Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your long hair!”

When you’re younger, you watch all of these fairytales and the leading lady has long flowing locks. Goldilocks, Rapunzel… all gorgeously soft and shiny spun hair.

I bounce between mid to shoulder length hair dependent on how recently I’ve visited the hairdresser. In my head I would love long, lucious locks, but everytime I sit in a hairdressers chair I opt for something easier to manage.

Luckily with the help of extensions, you can get that Rapunzel look faster than a Prince could ride across the land and call out “Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your long hair!”

I was sent these Clip Hair extensions to review, and I’ve been super excited to try them out. I ordered the 18″ double weave clip in extensions. The colour match to my hair was more or less identical (I ordered Natural Red/Ginger) and the overall thickness and quality of the hair was beautiful.imageI took these on their first outing to my best friends Hen Party last weekend. The instructions on how to clip your extensions in was really easy to follow (you basically work upwards in a diamond shape dependent on the length of the weft) and within no time I had a thick mane of ginger hair with a good 10 inches on my own hair.

I styled my extensions using the Enrapture Totem Styler (on a 3-3-3 setting) that I won at the Birmingham Bloggers Meet to add a bit of body and to help the extensions blend into my layers more seamlessly.

Everybody loved my new Rapunzel hair (or should I be channeling Aerial seeing as though I’m living on the Disney Princess spectrum) and the bride even asked ordered me to wear them at her big day – and who am I to say no?

(Do you recognise the blue dress from my recent New Look post – I decided on this for the Hen, the coral for the evening do)

  • Wow they look so good on you, and match perfectly. Nothing worse than un-matching extensions xx
