BEAUTY || Couture by Dainty Doll

Following up on my recent beauty buys post, the time of year has come when everyone is reaching for their gothic lipsticks.  Whether its for the upcoming Halloween celebrations to perfectyour  “sexy witch” or “sexy vampire” outfit or if like me you just love a dark dramatic lip – the likes of Collection, Rimmel and MUA have new lipstick ranges released which boast these dark plum shades.

I’d begun to fall under the “I HAVE NO GOTHIC LIPSTICKS I MUST BUY MORE” spell and started to hit the net to find the perfect shade.

That was until I spotted this little gem winking at me from my dressing table, eager to save me a couple of ££ and be all thrifty.

Dainty Doll’s “Couture”  is a deep plum/brown shade with a matte finish and I picked it up as part of my Fragrance Direct order a few months ago.  At the time it was a little bit too summery to wear such a dark lip, but with the recent shift in weather, the changes of the leaves and heavy knits replacing summer dresses, a dramatic lip teamed with flawless skin and simple eyes is my new go to look.

What are your go to gothic lipsticks?  Just incase I decide to add to the collection (which I will!)
