Its been a while since I’ve done a nail post, so long in fact that I can’t even remember the last time I did one but I just had to write about a rediscovered gem* in my collection that I fell head over heels in love with when I first bought it. I think I first heard about this top coat from queen of all things nails & blingy, Fleur De Force.
The Andrea Fulerton Gemstone Overcoat does what it says on the tin, its an overcoat which you paint over any nail polish to give a beautiful irridescent shimmer/crackle effect (I like to liken it to fish scales, put pretty. Mermaid tail scales?) Each time I use this I’m impressed by how beautiful the finish is, when I first bought it I painted each of my nails a different colour and painted the topcoat over it to see how it worked with different colours.

I generally dislike glitter nail polishes, they’re too much for me on a day to day basis, they interfere with the extreme anal retentiveness I have about my nails matching my outfit and they’re harder to get off than …*insert some kind of sexual inuendo* but I make an exception for this because it’s so damn pretty.
